TKDeutschland merges with Möller Telekommunikation Solingen.

Since the merger on May 1st, TKDeutschland and Möller Telekommunikation have formed a strategic partnership. The two companies use synergy effects to offer their customers products and services and services from a single source.

TKDeutschland is already one of the market leaders as a telecommunications service provider. TKD is a specialist in the field of smartphone rental, better known as Device as a Service. With Telekommunikation Solingen, TKM for short, a specialist in the field of cloud telephony and headsets was brought on board.

Together with Jaroslaw Olszewik, the managing director of TKD Vertriebs GmbH and Christian Kern, the senior consultant of TKM (former managing director), we had a short interview about the history behind the merger of the two companies and the common future.

Hello Mr. Olszewik and Mr. Kern. As you have already reported to me, the past weeks and months have been a challenge for your telecommunications companies in Düsseldorf and Solingen – what exactly do you mean by that?

Jaroslaw Olszewik:

There was hardly a company that was prepared for decentralized work in the home office. The pandemic took us by surprise, as it did many of our customers and partners. Within a few weeks, we had to and were able to adapt the majority of our customers to the new challenges. The focus here was primarily on procuring and setting up new smartphones and tablets and the associated tariffs.

The shipping, installation and introduction of the devices proved to be a particular challenge for our customers. The devices were not sent to the customer collectively and distributed internally, as is usually the case. There were customers with up to 4000 smart devices that had to be sent decentrally to each employee in the home office. For us, it was a great opportunity to fully exploit our know-how.

 

K. Dirkes:

Mr. Kern, as the former managing director of Telekommunikation Möller, you seem to have had similar experiences?

Christian Kern:

“Yes, with all due respect for the difficult situation and gratitude for all the people who stuck together in this exceptional situation, we can say that we have recognized progress in the decentralized work of companies. A trend that cannot be ignored. A development that will grow.

Just as Mr. Olszewik noted, the need for equipment and software to deploy decentralized work was enormous. In order to be able to perform top at important conferences and meetings, the need for high-quality headsets was very high. How did it then come about that you met?

Jaroslaw Olszewik:

The answer lies in the nature of things. If you work decentrally and equip your employees, you also need other accessories and, above all, the right software. During our projects, we have come across TKM again and again, quite pleased. After TKD had set up and delivered smartphones and staged them with the appropriate software, it was a matter of Christian Kern and his team playing the appropriate cloud telephone systems on the hardware and equipping the employees with the appropriate headsets. This is how the first connections were made. We recognized the synergy effects of both worlds relatively quickly. His conclusion in the context of our performance was very short and sweet: “Crazy, I thought I would now have to work with 5 different companies to deal with all the topics”. For us, this resulted in a common conclusion: We can be the 360 ​​° solution for corporate communication for companies – everything from a single source, everything with one contact person and everything at the highest level.
