Voice product with zero, one, or multiple phone numbers and a desired number of voice channels. Additional options in the TKD account include fax2mail / mail2fax (virtual fax server solution), free fallback to mobile phone in case of internet connection failure, and more.
We encrypt our Trunk with SRTP upon request and offer various permission classes for call areas (examples: only Germany, only landline and mobile, special numbers yes/no, international calls yes/no). Each Trunk is protected with a secure, long, and complex password. We establish a maximum limit for individual call costs (standard: €80). If this limit is reached, the entire Trunk is temporarily blocked for outgoing calls until reactivation by our technical team in coordination with the end customer.
Yes, upon request, we provide our customers with a fresh direct dial-in number (with block) from the customer’s area code network at no additional cost.
Yes, a phone number always belongs to our customers and can therefore be ported to the TKD Trunk without any issues.
Currently, there is no upper limit on the number of concurrent voice channels per TKD Trunk. Our customers can start with as few as 1 voice channel.
The TKD Trunk, like any trunk, is purely a voice landline product, not a full telecommunications solution. The TKD Trunk ALWAYS requires an internet connection, whether in a data center or at our customers’ premises. To operate the TKD Trunk, a separate telecommunications solution is necessary. This can include:
– IP-capable PBX (Private Branch Exchange)
– Session Border Controller (SBC)
– A single SIP phone
– And more (FritzBox, voice-capable routers, etc.)
